World Elite Sumo (WES) rumbles into New Jersey with its Prudential Center debut on Saturday, May 16, launching a new era of elite combat sumo in Newark. Following the sold-out success of Sumo Fight Club at White Eagle Hall (Jersey City, NJ), WES continues its national expansion with a high-energy, globally inspired event designed to thrill both longtime combat sports fans and first-time sumo audiences.

World Elite Sumo brings together top-level athletes from around the world, featuring live taiko drumming, dramatic entrances, and an immersive fight-night production that blends athleticism, intensity, and spectacle. The innovative WES format emphasizes quick, decisive matches with one clear winner every time, creating nonstop edge-of-your-seat action for fans of all ages.

This event will feature a one-night, single-elimination 12-man tournament. The brackets for the single-elimination tournament will be determined one day before the live event.

How To Get Your Ticket(s)

1. Book your desired number of tickets and await an email from us confirming your order.

Please note if you aren't able to checkout with the desired number of tickets you have selected, it means you will have to reduce the quantity to complete the order.

2. After booking, you'll receive an order confirmation email from Tickets for Good; this is NOT your ticket.

3. This event is being supplied by Ticketmaster. You can claim your tickets directly in your Tickets for Good account under the 'your tickets' section a few minutes after purchase by following the link provided. You will also be sent an email from Ticketmaster with guidance on how to claim your ticket(s).

4. Once you have claimed your ticket(s) and received them via email, take them with you and show them on entry at the event. Ensure that you take personal ID with you or you may be turned away.

The account holder must be present & tickets must not be transferred via the Ticketmaster app. Any tickets transferred may be voided.
